Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions We offer a base salary of $55,000–$60,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus uncapped commission opportunities that reward your production. Realistic target annual compensation, including commissions, is $55,000–$75,000, with the potential to earn more based on individual performance. First‑Year Hiring Incentive Qualified, experienced, currently licensed insurance professionals may be eligible for an additional hiring incentive of up to $2,000, earned through established employment milestones during their first year. WHAT YOU’LL DO Generate new business through agency‑provided leads, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building. Conduct insurance needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. Present and sell auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products within your licensing authority. Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing customers through additional coverage and protection options. Develop and manage an active sales pipeline, including consistent follow‑up with prospective customers. Meet established sales and production goals while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Maintain accurate customer records and documentation. Collaborate with agency leadership and team members to support continued agency growth. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required Qualifications Active New York State Property & Casualty insurance license. Previous insurance sales experience with demonstrated success generating new business. Strong communication, relationship‑building, and sales closing skills. Ability to identify customer needs and confidently recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working toward established production goals. Strong follow‑up skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Ability to work full‑time in our Glenmont, NY office. Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of insurance sales experience. Active Life & Health insurance license. Previous experience working in a State Farm agency or another established insurance agency. Demonstrated success with referrals, cross‑selling, and developing long‑term customer relationships.
