Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine the individual needs of clients, creating tailored treatment plans that encompass discharge planning and follow-through.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies to address clients’ emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Collaboratively work with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans, helping to track patient progress and identify areas of need.
\n
• Serve as a liaison with community resources, representing MindShift in meetings and forums to advocate for patients' social and healthcare needs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and applicable state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present various mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and respect, ensuring individualized care that addresses both psychological and interpersonal aspects for holistic healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• A valid license in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• At least three years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, with a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documentation and reporting patient information.

Compensation and Benefits\n
