Manual QA Tester

IT-QA Test
The Finance platform is looking for an IT-QA Test resource with 3-5+ years of experience. This team is responsible for taking data from their finance sister team in SQL and testing and reporting in Excel. They will also be responsible for pulling reports in Power BI and copy and pasting them into Excel.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Participate in PI planning and Sprint ceremonies (if not based in Houston, prefer to have the person travel quarterly to attend PI planning)
- Create, maintain, and document stories in ADO.
- SQL database is where they are pulling the data from - need SQL skills.
- Document test plan preparation and track the Test artifacts in the Azure DevOps
- Understand financial calculations and be able to replicate them in Excel to verify accuracy.
- Document all steps of calculation testing in Excel.
- Manual Testing experience in Excel
- Experience pulling reports and navigating through the Power BI Tool.
- Perform and analyze regressions.
- Be able to execute tests in the Test, UAT and Production environments.
- Defect triage and lifecycle management
- Proactively and effectively communicate with developers, PO, and customer when necessary.
