As an Optical Sales Associate, you will work closely with patients, providers, and the optical team to ensure every patient receives a personalized experience from insurance verification through eyewear selection and final delivery.

Responsibilities
As an Optical Sales Associate, you will:
\tDeliver outstanding customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
\tVerify vision insurance eligibility and explain available benefits.
\tProcess optical orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses accurately.
\tAssist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens enhancements that fit their visual needs and lifestyle.
\tEducate patients on lens technology, coatings, and eyewear options.
\tCoordinate with optical laboratories to monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
\tHandle billing, documentation, and order management with attention to detail.
\tCollaborate with doctors and staff to provide seamless patient care.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
\tTwo or more years of optical sales or optical retail experience preferred.
\tStrong customer service and sales abilities.
\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\tHighly organized with strong attention to detail.
\tAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
\tPositive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
\tExperience with vision insurance verification is preferred.
