Technical Product Owner - SAP Finance

About The Opportunity A confidential global organization operating at the intersection of healthcare and enterprise technology is looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to spearhead SAP Finance transformation efforts within a large-scale, complex enterprise setting. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise alongside a strong product ownership mindset, comfort operating in Agile environments, and the ability to align diverse cross-functional teams around a shared product vision. What You'll Be Doing Define and own the SAP S/4HANA Finance product strategy, vision, and multi-horizon roadmap. Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery — turning stakeholder needs into scalable, high-impact solutions. Lead end-to-end design and implementation across: Financial Accounting & Controlling Revenue Recognition & Financial Reporting Financial Supply Chain Management Master Data governance System integrations and interfaces Work closely with engineering squads in Agile ceremonies — backlog grooming, sprint planning, story writing, and retrospectives. Identify and drive automation, analytics, and innovation opportunities that improve business performance. Oversee testing cycles, issue resolution, technical documentation, and integration troubleshooting. Establish KPIs, success metrics, and measurable outcomes tied to business value. What You Bring Bachelor's degree required. 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 8 years working with SAP. Proven hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA Finance modules. Strong functional knowledge across Financial Accounting, Controlling, Revenue Recognition, and Supply Chain Finance. Direct experience configuring SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. Solid grounding in Agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycles. Track record leading cross-functional and self-organized teams. Sharp communication and problem-solving skills. Experience working with integrations, interfaces, and enterprise systems. Nice to Have Background in Healthcare, MedTech, Pharma, or Life Sciences. Familiarity with SOX and GxP compliance frameworks. Experience contributing to large-scale transformation programs. Exposure to global and multi-regional operating environments.
