Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Days

Schedule

This position offers 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. Times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR).

Job Description

The role of the assessing therapist involves managing a lighter caseload while taking on some responsibilities of the DOR. Duties include attending morning and facility meetings and managing the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team (PT, OT, ST, PTA, COTA).
• Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes.
• Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
• Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of SLP experience - Required
• Experience in a leadership role within a SNF/LTC rehab setting - Required
• Knowledge of PDPM - Required
• MO State License - Required
• New grads are NOT accepted for this position.
