Press Operator
We are seeking experienced Press Operators to join our manufacturing team in Avon. We are hiring multiple individuals with experience running various machines; will be learning to operate metal stamping presses. Looking for candidates who have a strong work history, machine operation experience, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Schedule: Summer Hours (Through August 15)
- Monday Friday
- 6:30 PM 5:00 AM
- Approximately 50 hours per week
Regular 2nd Shift (Beginning After August 15)
- Monday Friday
- 3:30 PM 12:00 AM or 3:30 PM 2:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate metal stamping presses.
- Work with transfer dies to produce quality parts.
- Monitor machine operation and production output.
- Perform quality inspections and measurements of finished parts.
- Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues.
- Follow production schedules and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating metal stamping presses required.
- Experience working with transfer dies strongly preferred.
- Machine operation experience required.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work history.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
