We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic outpatient counseling practice in Surprise, Arizona. Work Environment\n

Our team works in a collaborative outpatient setting, where you will have access to modern tools and systems, including electronic health record (EHR) platforms that streamline documentation and enhance patient care. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gather insights about patients' unique experiences and to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, tailored specifically to individual clients, whilst considering their cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, building resilience, and fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention support and understanding during critical mental health emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower and equip them for recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the highest levels of patient confidentiality.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance service delivery and professional growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and principles of cultural competence in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using an inclusive, culturally responsive approach.

• Proven crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations with composure.
