General Pediatrician

Jackson and Coker is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Pediatrician for a locums opportunity in an outpatient and inpatient setting, located one hour from Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents, with support from Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses in the clinic. The position requires a commitment of at least two weeks per month, starting November 2026.

Practice Info

• Outpatient clinic coverage
• Rotating call coverage for the newborn nursery
• Work with support from Medical Assistants (MA) and Registered Nurses (RN) in the clinic

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage (20-22 patients per day)
• Rotating call for newborn nursery (0-1 patients per day)
• Work alongside MA and RN support in the clinic
• Ensure high-quality care for pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents
• Coordinate with nursing and support staff for optimal patient care

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active Wisconsin Medical License or current IMLC Letter of Eligibility (preferred)
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient pediatric care
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting with excellent communication skills
