Medical Scheduler Opportunity: Contact to Hire!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Scheduler / Patient Access Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, verifying insurance information, processing referrals, and providing billing support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling a high volume of calls while delivering exceptional service to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing 65 to 80 calls per day in a high-volume call center, patient access, scheduling, healthcare customer service, or registration environment.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
