CT TechnologistA leading Westchester hospital is seeking an experienced and patient-focused CT Technologist to join its advanced Imaging Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic imaging studies.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocolsPrepare and position patients appropriately for examinationsExplain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure a positive patient experienceProduce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining established imaging standardsAdminister and monitor imaging protocols in accordance with department guidelinesAssist radiologists and physicians during specialized procedures as neededProcess images and prepare CDs when requiredMaintain accurate patient documentation within EPIC, RIS, and PACS systemsPerform quality assurance testing, equipment calibrations, and ACR compliance activitiesMonitor equipment performance and report any operational concerns promptlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environmentSupport patient populations across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patientsParticipate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and training programsServe as a preceptor or instructor for students and new staff when assignedQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programNew York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License or Limited PermitARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)Documented training and experience operating CT imaging equipmentKnowledge of radiation physics, radiation safety, and dose reduction techniquesNew York State IV CertificationCurrent BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), or ability to obtain within 90 days of hireSalary and Bonus$52.00 - $63.00 + Shift Differential$15,000 Sign-On BonusPhysical Requirements:This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
