What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build and maintain cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Lead system analysis, application design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software development best practices.
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
• Coordinate development activities across multiple technical teams.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on project initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend process improvements.
• Support project planning, technical estimates, and implementation schedules.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and production deployments.
• Ensure applications comply with organizational security, risk, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with vendor software evaluations and technology assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and software modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of software development or systems analysis experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and developing enterprise Java applications.
• Strong experience with:
  • Java (Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Concurrency)
  • Spring Boot
  • RESTful API development
  • Build automation tools
  • Unit testing frameworks
• Experience developing cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure, including:
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Service Integrations
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Managed Identities
  • Azure Monitoring
• Experience working with:
  • OAuth 2.0 Authentication
  • Java Client libraries
  • API integrations
  • Error handling and exception management
• Extensive backend development experience.
• Experience coordinating software development efforts with business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, priorities, and technical deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working within financial services or banking environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and integrated systems.
• Familiarity with project management tools and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with application lifecycle management and DevOps practices.
