Sheet Metal Foreman

Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services Hourly Rate: $32-45 (DOE) Location: Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103, Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job) Requirements: You must be 18 years old. You must be eligible to work in the U.S You must be able to pass a drug test. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check. For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English. You must have your own tool kit. A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required. Able to lift up to 30lbs. Job Duties: As you might expect, leadership is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be: Responsible for teaching apprentices. Manage daily labor and productivity while giving clear objectives and timelines. Adhere and enforce safety policy and immediately correct any non-compliance. Effectively listen to employee concerns and guide them towards resolutions. Immediately report all work-related injuries and complete required report. Complete daily paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours. Inventory and track all product delivered to job site and be aware of all materials on site at all times. Monitor and track all material on backorder. Responsible for mark‑out/layout of all systems and product as indicated in the contract documents and as indicated on coordination drawings provided by the office. Responsible for all on‑site project documentation (Time Sheets, Daily Logs, Weekly Safety, Test Reports, Pictures, Etc.). Fabricate and assemble metal structures based on blueprints and specifications. Operate various tools and machinery such as forklift, Cleat formers, Bar Folders, Shears, Roll Former, Band Saw, Rotary Machine, Flangers, notchers etc, Welders etc. Install, Alter, Fabrication, and Repair Sheet Metal Products, Equipment Ducts, and Hoods for HVAC Systems. Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal components. Be able to lead and manage the job with dedicated to moderate support from project management team.
