Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students' success while making a difference in their academic journey. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced School Psychologist seeking a balanced schedule and meaningful impact within two vibrant school communities.
Required skills and experiences:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with special education assessment and report writing
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel weekly between two elementary school locations
- Comfort working with diverse student populations in a school setting
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive special education assessments at Parker Elementary and Franktown Elementary, dedicating one full day (8 hours) per week at each school
- Interpret evaluation data and provide reports to support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students' learning needs are met
- Provide consultation and recommendations to support inclusive practices and student well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and maintain strict confidentiality in all matters
