Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

• Regularly assess and monitor client progress throughout their individualized treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.

• Communicate proactively with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding client care, particularly for those requiring hospitalization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Freedom Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral health issues. You will be responsible for tailoring therapeutic approaches to accommodate different cultural backgrounds, age groups, and socio-economic statuses, ensuring that all clients feel understood and supported in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
