Position Overview Sun Country Builders is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Project Management team throughout all phases of construction. This position plays an essential role in maintaining project documentation, coordinating subcontractor compliance, tracking project workflows, and ensuring project information is accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment while collaborating with Project Managers, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel. Key Responsibilities Project Administration Assist with project startup and closeout procedures under the direction of Project Managers and Project Engineers Maintain project files, documentation, and workflow processes Support daily project administration to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks Coordinate project documentation and maintain organized electronic filing systems Subcontractor Administration Assist with subcontract buyout processes, including subcontract drafting, processing, tracking, and purchase orders Verify and maintain current subcontractor business licenses, contractor licenses, and Certificates of Insurance Track subcontractor compliance documentation throughout each project Document Control Process and track submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and responses from architects, engineers, consultants, and other project partners Upload, organize, maintain, and distribute project drawings, specifications, reports, and other construction documents Maintain drawing revisions, sketches (SKs), Architect's Supplemental Instructions (ASIs), and related project documentation Coordinate document distribution to project teams and subcontractors Change Management & Project Support Assist with maintaining Potential Change Order (PCO) logs and Change Order Requests (CORs) Support Project Managers and Project Engineers in preparing, distributing, and tracking subcontract and owner change orders Compile and organize project closeout documentation Assist with miscellaneous project coordination tasks to support project schedules and overall project success Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Experience using Procore and DocuSign Strong organizational and document management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Strong follow-up skills and commitment to meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Project Managers on multi-family construction projects Familiarity with project scheduling and cost control processes Knowledge of subcontract administration and change management OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Frequent use of hands and fingers for data entry and document handling Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through email Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, or reach Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally Why Join Us?
