Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Previous experience working within school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic educational environment and manage a diverse caseload.
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to student-centered care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services based on students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Evaluate and assess students’ physical and functional abilities in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop tailored treatment plans to foster student independence, safety, and participation.
• Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements.
• Provide support and education to staff and families regarding best practices for student mobility and access.
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions.
• Adapt therapy instruments and approaches for the school environment.
