Preferred Background & Skills:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in North Carolina
• Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience highly valuable
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Skilled in maintaining documentation compliant with educational and therapy standards
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience conducting assessments to identify students’ needs and develop appropriate interventions
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting to a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with varying abilities
• Develop goals and therapy interventions aligned with IEPs and student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' educational participation
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Assist teachers in understanding and implementing classroom adaptations and supports
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to best serve each student
