Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Manage full-cycle accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, cash management, and month-end close

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for the external CPA

• Process office and union payroll, payroll tax filings, quarterly returns, and W-2 reporting

• Oversee project accounting, job costing, WIP reporting, commissions, and monthly sales tax filings

• Maintain accounts receivable reporting and support collection efforts

• Handle employee records, workers’ compensation reporting, OSHA logs, and other HR administration functions

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• 5+ years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience

• Experience preparing financial statements and managing general ledger activities

• Background in construction, engineering, HVAC, flooring, or other project-driven environments strongly preferred

• Experience with payroll processing for both office and field/union employees preferred

• Degree not required; relevant experience is prioritized
