Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities Own the accounting and financial reporting process for a portfolio of real estate investment entities. Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including operating results, balance sheet activity, cash flow reporting, and management reporting packages. Perform detailed account analyses, prepare supporting schedules, and review complex journal entries and reconciliations. Monitor portfolio performance by investigating monthly operating fluctuations and explaining significant variances to management. Support the preparation of consolidated financial reporting, including intercompany activity and elimination adjustments where applicable. Partner with internal teams to coordinate cash management, liquidity planning, and intercompany funding activities. Serve as the primary accounting contact during quarterly reviews and annual financial statement audits. Work closely with the tax function to provide information needed for tax reporting, entity compliance, and regulatory filings. Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting quality.
