Research Assistant

Job Description

Research Assistant assists researchers with data collection, entry, and analysis . documenting results. conducting tests, sample inventory, basic cell culture tasks, RNA extraction, DNA extraction, qPCR, ELISA, staining and imaging cells.


This position is grant funded. This position requires a level II Background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory sampling
• Perform basic cell culture procedures
• Carry out molecular and cellular assays including RNA/DNA extraction, qPCR, ELISA
• Perform cell staining and imaging.

Qualifications

Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience. Higher education may substitute for the experience.
