Logistics Coordinator

Join a small but dynamic fabrication shop that specializes in equipment for industries such as power generation, petro-chemicals, HVAC, and pulp & paper. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting our production team.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, inspect for damage, verify quantities, and match to purchase orders.
• Prepare shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and completing documentation.
• Update inventory systems and report discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely.
• Coordinate with production to deliver materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow all safety procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
• Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in inventory control and logistics.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with SAP software.

Work Environment

Experience a smaller shop feel located in Ooltewah, TN. Work a steady schedule of 5 days a week, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday with only one shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
