About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Trust Officer to play a pivotal role in the establishment and operation of a national trust bank. The successful candidate will be the senior-most fiduciary executive, responsible for trust administration, fiduciary controls, and organizational performance. This role involves leading all day-to-day fiduciary functions, designing and maintaining operational playbooks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Chief Trust Officer will also be the primary executive for board reporting on fiduciary activities and will oversee the bank's operational infrastructure, including readiness for new products and partner integrations. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in banking operations, trust operations, custody operations, or payments at a federally regulated financial institution, with a deep working knowledge of 12 CFR Part 9 and OCC standards. The role requires a proven track record in managing high-volume, control-intensive operational environments and experience in reporting to a bank Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital asset custody, stablecoin operations, or blockchain-based transaction workflows, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and third-party risk management. The Chief Trust Officer will also be responsible for fostering a culture of operational excellence, fiduciary accountability, and regulatory integrity within the organization.
