Manager, Clinical Education

Abbott seeks a Manager of Clinical Education for its Vascular division to oversee strategy implementation and operations for clinical trials and research activities. This remote role manages medical affairs teams directing phases III & IV clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and investigator coordination.
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategy implementation and operations for clinical trials and research data collection
- Direct phases III & IV human clinical trials for company products under development
- Recruit clinical investigators and negotiate study design and associated costs
- Monitor protocol adherence, coordinate investigator initiations, and ensure study completion
- Coordinate regulatory agency reporting and adverse event safety monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in clinical research, scientific, or technical discipline
- 5 years related work experience, or Master's degree with 3 years experience
- Direct clinical research experience or CRA background
- Medical device/diagnostics clinical experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IVD and biologics regulations and standards
- Demonstrated success leading high-complexity projects
- ACRP or SoCRA certification preferred
Compensation: $99,300–$198,700 base
