Litigation Associate - Commercial and Consumer Warranty/Lemon Law

Overview Litigation Associate – Commercial and Consumer Warranty/Lemon Law at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP in San Diego, California. This role focuses on commercial and consumer warranty work, including matters brought under the Song-Beverly Act. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California and have experience in litigation at various stages. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of cases involving various commercial litigation matters, including pre-litigation analysis, written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and attending court conferences. Exposure to consumer warranty/lemon law matters and opportunity to balance commercial matters with consumer warranty cases. Client contact and management of cases from intake through resolution. Qualifications Admitted to practice in California. One to seven years of litigation experience, including exposure to consumer warranty/lemon law matters. Experience in various stages of litigation (pre-litigation analysis, written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, court conferences). Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $210,000 and up to $40,000+ in bonus potential. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
