Facilities Mechanical TechnicianSalary Range $35.00 - $40.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionJob title: Facilities Mechanical TechnicianSchedule: 1st shift, 40 hours per week, (alternating weekends, 40 hours/week)Pay rate: $35-40 / hourFacilities Mechanical Technicians perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine repair activities across facility infrastructure systems.Functional Responsibilities:Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities (HVAC, boilers, and compressed air systems)Inspections on fire suppression, alarms and emergency systemsEnsuring facility compliance with environmental, health, and safety standardsCompleting GMP documentation and work orders accuratelyReplace motors, pumps, valves, belts, and filtersFollow LOTO, confined space, and electrical safety proceduresConduct inspections of mechanical and electrical systemsPerform minor repairs within licensed capabilityIdentify and report observed deficienciesSupport vendor access and coordinationMaintain safe work practices in accordance with site policiesTechnicians are responsible for maintenance execution and do not assume responsibility for system redesign, capital replacement, or production outcomesQualificationsPhysical stamina and dexterityAbility to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staffReliable transportationAbility to follow schedules and keep commitmentsAbility to follow directions from a supervisorAbility to demonstrate professionalismAllegiance is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
