Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 Year License: Compact or State License Required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: 1 Year of Experience Required, Preferred Experience in an Academic Medical Center Description: This is an acute, non-telemetry medical surgical unit. The patient ratio will be 1:5. All contracts will require BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty is required. Candidates should ideally have experience in an academic medical center setting. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital. No telemetry or EKG testing is required for this position. Candidates must successfully complete a basic math exam. Compliance requirements are limited to acute medical surgical care only. Candidates must provide at least one reference at the time of application. No licensure issues will be accepted. Applicants must disclose any prior employment at the facility during the application process. Rehire eligibility will be checked.
