Laboratory Technician

job summary: A Laboratory Technician is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Atlanta, GA area. This Laboratory Technician role involves supporting the Ingredient Quality team by performing essential lab tasks such as sample handling, equipment maintenance, and record-keeping while adhering to strict safety protocols. location: Atlanta, Georgia job type: Contract salary: $20 - 21 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines, including using proper PPE. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of lab surfaces and equipment. Receive, inspect, and log all incoming samples daily. Accurately enter sample information into a LIMS system. Prepare, process, and dispose of samples according to protocols. Assist with sample extraction for sensory evaluations. Load, unload, clean, and dry all laboratory glassware and equipment. Perform routine calibrations of designated equipment. Collaborate with the team and contribute to a supportive work environment. Skills: Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
