Crane & Hoist Technician III - 3rd Shift

Position Summary Amentum is seeking a Crane & Hoist Maintenance Technician III to join our team in Waukesha, WI. The position is scheduled for 3rd Shift, Monday – Friday; 10:00pm to 6:30am, with overtime and weekend work as necessary. Pay range: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining cranes, hoist, and related equipment in an operating and functional condition. Duties may include electrical repairs or installations, plumbing, welding, machine servicing, and general electrical/mechanical maintenance. This is an entry‑level position and training will be provided. Effective communication with your team and the customer is critical to understand and solve complex electrical and mechanical problems. Responsibilities Follows safety protocols and maintains a safe work environment. Maintains and troubleshoots production equipment. Performs quality control checks on products. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Performs preventive maintenance on production equipment. Operates various production machines and tools. Maintains accurate records of production processes and results. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. One to three years of experience with electrical and/or mechanical equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers, and other equipment as required. Physical Requirements Requires ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach and move in a 90-degree fashion repeatedly during shift, and walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
