Overview Territory Representative - Southern Indiana & Illinois Benjamin Moore is seeking a Territory Representative for the Southern Indiana & Illinois region. The territory spans Southern Indiana and Southern Illinois, with the ideal candidate based in the Indianapolis area or willing to relocate. This is a remote-friendly, full-time, salaried sales role. Responsibilities Focus on customer satisfaction by collaborating, solving problems with a consultative approach, and providing exceptional customer service. Establish yourself as the customer’s go-to expert by bringing a mix of technical knowledge and business acumen. Develop and cultivate relationships for new business and existing accounts to increase profitability and sales growth. Drive, orchestrate, and close opportunities with key partners to achieve transformative business outcomes. Use professional solution-based selling skills and selling tools to meet customer needs. Seek and qualify new business aligned with company goals. Research customer needs and develop a tailored mix of products and services. Qualifications Excellent communication, listening, and public speaking skills with negotiation ability. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills; ability to forge positive business relationships. High level of self-discipline, organization, and time management; ability to meet deadlines. Accountability, self-motivation, and comfort with autonomy. Teamwork and persistence when dealing with customers and internal teams. Ability to drive outcomes and provide constructive feedback. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus. 1+ years of field sales experience; college degree preferred (paint experience not required). Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Willingness to travel within the region and work evenings/weekends when necessary; up to 25% overnight travel. Residence within the outlined territory is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Starting From: USD $72,000.00 / Yr Maximum Pay Range: USD $110,000.00 / Yr Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) match, PTO starting at 3 weeks of vacation plus holidays and personal days, employer-paid life insurance, and tuition reimbursement. The salary range listed refers to the amount the Company is willing to pay at posting time; actual offers depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and other factors.
