Mortgage Loan Closer I

The Mortgage Loan Closer I is responsible for reviewing executed loan packages for accuracy and completeness. They are also responsible for funding the loan. The Mortgage Loan Closer I is also responsible for completing post-closing audits and issuing post consummation closing disclosures.

What Will You Do?

• Ensures file and documents meet all applicable bank and compliance requirements.
• Communicate and respond to internal customers within 2 hours.
• Confirms all applicable wait periods have been met prior to funding.
• Confirms all prior to funding conditions have been satisfied.
• Completes a minimum of 8 files per day.
• Issues post consummation
• Completes post
• Follows up for trailing docs as needed.
• Verifies and inputs loan information accurately into loan origination system.
• Verifies the following information is correct, but not limited to: subject property address, wire information, insurance policy information, all fees, & the correct set
• Other duties as/or assigned by management.

What Do You Need To Succeed? Required Qualifications*

• H.S. Diploma
• Minimum 1 year recent closing/funding experience
• Minimum 1 year basic computer experience (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance, especially in stressful situations.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures. (TRID experience required).
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Loan Origination systems.

What's In It For You? Compensation Starting base salary: $22.27 - $33.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
