This is an entry level position.Job Duties:Conduct repairs on aerospace components and assembliesDisassemble and rebuild aerospace components and assemblies using light hand toolsTest assemblies using electronic and mechanical test equipmentDimensional inspection of aerospace style components using various measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gage, gage pins, optical comparator, CMM, etc.) against blueprintsProcess parts according to company quality system documentationEducation/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentExperience working in a production/manufacturing shop environment is preferredRequired Skills:Strong critical thinking skills - Must be able to understand and troubleshoot technical processesMust be familiar with and comfortable operating electrical and mechanical test equipmentStrong communication skills (verbal and written) – Must be able to read, write and speak EnglishGood interpersonal skills including the ability to function as a strong member of a team20/40 vision (corrected)Organizational skills, team player, problem solving and dependableTimely completion of repairs while focusing 100% on quality and detailsOther:Must be able to pick up and carry up to 25 poundsOvertime may be required based on shop workloadPunctual and regular attendance is a requirementMust comply with DOT drug and alcohol policyThis is an entry level position
