Sous Chef Opportunity

Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory kitchen role
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
Ability to lead, train, and mentor a team
ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred

Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:

Previous experience within upscale or high-volume restaurants
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Familiarity with inventory and ordering systems
Professional experience working with live fire ovens preferred

Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and team leadership
Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency and high quality
Train and coach line cooks and prep staff, fostering a positive team culture
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Collaborate on menu development and execution of new dishes
