Sous Chef Opportunity

Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor a team
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:
- Previous experience within upscale or high-volume restaurants
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory and ordering systems
- Professional experience working with live fire ovens preferred
Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and team leadership
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency and high quality
- Train and coach line cooks and prep staff, fostering a positive team culture
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate on menu development and execution of new dishes
