Executive Search Analyst, CEO & Board

Job Description Executive Search Analysts are responsible for supporting the research phase of the executive recruiting lifecycle. They collaborate closely with Search Partners & Principals and work across all levels of the Search team, receiving world‑class training in an apprenticeship‑style method. Analysts assist with candidate identification, prepare client reports, and ensure accurate data capture in H&S systems. Role Responsibilities Research & Writing: Conduct industry research to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client company, its industry, and position requirements. Candidate Identification: Use targeted company research, prior searches, and proprietary systems to identify prospective candidates. Internal & External Communication: Contribute to multiple engagements and candidate pipelines. Maintain progress, status, and market feedback reports for Consultants and Clients. Assist in writing candidate assessments for client presentation. Support business development activities and pitch preparation as directed. Basic Role Qualifications 0–1 year of recruiting experience or transferable professional experience. Undergraduate BA/BS degree required. Strong professional communications skills (writing, speaking, presentation). Preferred Role Qualifications Experience in full‑life cycle recruiting in executive search, contingent search, in‑house talent acquisition, or related industry requiring applied sales and research skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work across teams. Experience identifying market trends through diverse channels. Strong analytical, organizational, and synthesis skills for large volumes of information. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems. Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Pay Range Guidelines for this Position The salary range for this position is 65,000 USD to 90,000 USD. Compensation is based on factors including education, work experience, and skills. In addition to salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility) and a comprehensive benefits package.
