Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Green Oak Wellness, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing therapy and counseling services utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client caseload will include adults, adolescents, and families experiencing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The ideal candidate will be adept at tailoring their therapeutic approach to meet the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring that each individual feels understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Pennsylvania. Candidates with LMFT licenses will also be considered.

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Professional liability insurance, with options for counseling supervision available if needed.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in delivering psychotherapeutic interventions. Experience working in a remote setting and familiarity with telehealth platforms is highly desirable. Being credentialed with insurance providers is a significant asset, though Green Oak Wellness is willing to assist with the credentialing process for the right candidate.
