Assembler (2nd Shift)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr + $1.25/hr shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to support manufacturing operations on the second shift. This role is responsible for inspecting, assembling, packaging, and labeling product components to ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a production environment, following detailed instructions, and maintaining accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product inspection according to established quality standards
• Identify acceptable vs. non-conforming product conditions
• Sample and evaluate product as required
• Document inspection results and report findings
• Use scales to perform accurate piece counts per work instructions
• Package and label finished product components
• Generate and apply product labels using computer systems
• Identify and tag non-conforming or suspect product for review or disposition
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail throughout production
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Manufacturing/production environment
• Regular use of hands for handling, inspecting, and assembling products
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Occasional walking throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Close and color vision required for inspection work
• May be exposed to moving equipment and standard industrial materials
• Moderate noise environment
