Senior Director, Programmatic

Responsibilities Lead and manage a portfolio of programmatic business across key clients, supported by a team of traders Develop and implement strategic optimization plans using data analysis, technical expertise, and client feedback Oversee campaign execution, performance evaluation, and ongoing optimization across all programmatic dimensions Identify and present opportunities to leverage programmatic media to meet client objectives Drive cross-channel integration initiatives and collaborate with internal teams to enhance media strategies Champion programmatic excellence across the agency by contributing to thought leadership, process development, and innovation Communicate the value of programmatic capabilities, technologies, and partnerships to internal and external stakeholders Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions to promote innovation and continuous learning across the organization Stay current on platform features and best practices for activation, measurement, and optimization Collaborate with platform, inventory, and data partners to develop and refine targeted media programs Troubleshoot campaign issues and oversee QA processes for pre‑production and live campaigns Support the development and implementation of process standards and training for team members Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering their growth in campaign management and communication Partner with account teams to evolve program recommendations and uncover untapped opportunities Occasionally support new business initiatives involving programmatic strategy and execution Requirements 8-10+ years of hands‑on experience with self‑managed DSP platforms Deep understanding of programmatic campaign execution across CTV, Native, Proximity targeting, Prospecting vs. Remarketing, PMP executions, Audio/Video SSP direct deals Ability to interpret campaign performance and optimize toward CPA, ROAS, or awareness goals Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience troubleshooting campaign issues and overseeing QA processes Familiarity with platform features and techniques for activating, measuring, and optimizing media programs Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in programmatic campaign execution, optimization strategies, and data analysis, with a strong focus on driving client objectives and fostering team development.
