As an ER Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients. What You’ll Do Supporting veterinarians during emergency cases Delivering emergency first aid and advanced nursing care to injured or critical patients Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical and post-operative care Preparing patients and instruments for emergency procedures Obtaining and monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure and SpO₂ Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, tissue) and performing in-house diagnostics Operating digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Accurately documenting patient histories and medical records Supporting patient flow through admissions, treatment, and discharge Maintaining clean, sterile, and organized treatment, and exam areas Using safe restraint techniques and following hospital protocols Collaborating closely with doctors, technicians, and support teams What We’re Looking For Required Experience & Skills 2+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials strongly encouraged Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail in fast-moving situations Comfort working with ICU patients and advanced diagnostics You’ll Thrive Here If You Are Calm, focused, and decisive under pressure Passionate about emergency and critical care medicine Team-oriented and supportive of colleagues Committed to compassionate, high-quality patient care You’ll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
