Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele

ED Surge – Travel Nurse

Schedule: Every other weekend required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Strong recent PCU/stepdown experience required (within last year)
• ED experience preferred
• EPIC experience required for first-time travelers
• Valid New Hampshire nursing license
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or Red Cross accepted)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in the Cardiac Intermediate Care Holds unit within the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and manage patients with various cardiac conditions including chest pain, heart failure, and dysrhythmias.
• Administer and titrate medications, including vasoactive and cardiac drips.
• Perform assessments and care for patients post-cardiac catheterization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Facility requires drug screen obtained within 14 days of start.
• References required; second reference may be allowed pending.
• Former staff are not accepted for travel roles regardless of the time separated.
• Include preferred time off with submission; no requests for time off during Thanksgiving.
