We are seeking EXPERIENCED dispatchers who have verifiable experience as an ambulance dispatcher or EMT. We currently have an opening for an overnight dispatcher (4 twelve hour shifts per week).Why Dispatch at MTI?Tech-Driven Dispatch: AI-assisted CAD that reduces stress, shortens response times, and keeps things running smoothly.Supportive Leadership: All leaders have field experience - we've been where you are and know the challenges.Employee Voice: As a new company, your ideas shape our policies, perks, and future.No Cutting Corners: We pay you overtime after 8 hours, unlike other ambulance companies who do it after 10ResponsibilitiesAnswer and triage incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.Use CAD and radio systems to assign ambulances efficiently and safely.Screen calls for "red flag" complaints (chest pain, stroke symptoms, altered mental status, etc.) and transfer appropriately to 911.Support field crews by providing clear, accurate information.Maintain documentation and records for compliance and quality review.Collaborate with leadership on improving response efficiency and crew support.RequirementsMust have EMT or Ambulance Dispatcher Experience (No Exceptions), DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCECertification: California EMT OR EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatcher) OR ETC (Emergency Telecommunicator) certifications.CPR card: BLS-level, issued by AHA or ARC.Typing speed: 35+ WPM (or ability to type quickly while multitasking).Ability to learn and navigate multiple portals, CAD, and radio systems.Clear, reassuring voice and strong customer service skills.Team player with the ability to stay calm under pressure.Able to work overnight shifts, therefore work independently, solve problems and provide excellent customer service to our callers. Pay & BenefitsRate: Up to $75,000.00per year  (4 twelve hour shifts, with 4 hours of OT per shift)Overtime: Time-and-a-half after 8 hrs; double-time after 12 hrs.No gimmicks: Hourly rate is real, not averaged with overtime.Full-Time Shifts: Guaranteed schedules for full-time employees.Insurance: Medical & dental coverage for full-time staff.Perks: Reimbursement for dispatch certification renewal, CPR renewals at no costTechnology: AI-assisted dispatch to reduce workload and stress.Employee Voice: We listen - as a new company, you'll help shape our benefits.
