An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a strong background in school-based services. This contract role near Burleson, TX focuses on supporting a single student with severe needs, requiring specialized experience in life skills and conducting comprehensive evaluations.
The position involves 20 hours per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking a flexible schedule while making a significant impact. Immediate availability to start is preferred.
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience in a school setting
- Expertise working with students exhibiting severe needs, particularly in life skills development
- Significant experience performing and interpreting behavioral evaluations
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Female candidates are preferred, per client request
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, focusing on life skills and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct support and strategies to educational staff and family, ensuring consistency in implementation
- Use data-driven approaches to monitor progress, adapt interventions, and document results
- Partner with school personnel to create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Deliver staff coaching and training as needed to optimize the student’s success
