Quick Facts Location: Columbus, OH Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date/Duration: 02/01/2027 Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM 11:30 PM) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (Travel/Per Diem) Licenses/Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (preferred) Experience: Prior sterile processing experience in a hospital setting, familiarity with sterilization equipment, and OR liaison work Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $32.88/hour Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits Include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You'll Do Decontaminate all surgical instruments, scopes, and drills, including DaVinci systems Assemble instruments and prepare for sterilization across multiple service lines (Trauma, Loaners, Peel Packaging) Operate sterilization equipment such as Sterrad and steam sterilizers Perform High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope processing Manage sterile storage areas, ensuring proper inventory control Coordinate with OR staff as a liaison to meet surgical scheduling needs Use the Censitrac tracking system to monitor instrument sets and sterilization status What You Need Required: Valid CBSPD or CRCST certification (through HSPA or IAHCSMM) Prior experience in all areas of sterile processing, including sterilization methods and HLD Knowledge of Medivator systems and Censitrac tracking Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Preferred: Healthcare or hospital sterile processing experience in a Level One trauma facility Strong organizational and communication skills About the Assignment Join a busy Level One trauma center in Columbus, Ohio, known for its high volume and complex surgical procedures.
