divh2Supervisor Position/h2pIAT has an immediate opening for a Supervisor to provide day-to-day oversight for the Underwriting Operations Team within the Management Liability unit. An ideal candidate will be able to work out of one of the following IAT offices:/pulliScottsdale, Arizona/liliRolling Meadows, Illinois/liliKansas City, Missouri/liliOmaha, Nebraska/li/ulpUnderwriting Support consists of a team of production-oriented, customer-centric, problem-solving, detail-driven account managers. The ideal candidate will have experience leading, coaching and developing production teams as well as experience partnering with vendors on outsourced work./ppThis role works a hybrid schedule that requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely./ppResponsibilities:/pulliProvides leadership to assigned staff by leading organizational change; developing and empowering staff; cultivating relationships; putting staff in a position to succeed, meeting their personal career goals while also achieving organizational goals; building effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals; driving engagement and creating a climate where staff are motivated to do their best./liliConduct performance reviews, goal setting and ongoing feedback./liliOversees training and quality product output of account management staff./liliUse metrics to monitor daily workloads, prioritize assignments and ensure internal and vendor service level agreements (SLAs) are met; investigate and resolve abnormalities./liliFosters and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external customers./liliPerform other duties as needed./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliAssociates degree required/Bachelors degree preferred and 3+ years of relevant experience./liliSubstantial understanding and knowledge of Underwriting Support Processes and Procedures./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills./liliAbility to work throughout the organization at different levels./liliSolid technical background with hands on experience in rating and policy issuance platforms, as well as system testing./liliEffective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings./liliTo qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes./li/ulpAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
