Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor - Full-Time Position

Work Environment

This position will operate entirely in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology to reach clients effectively. You will leverage secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms for virtual therapy sessions, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported while receiving necessary mental health services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and concerns, synthesizing information to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to communicate patient progress and address any emerging needs or concerns.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including clinical and progress notes, in accordance with department policies.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, assessing and treating clients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral disturbances.
• Assist clients with discharge planning, facilitating care coordination among various providers and ensuring smooth transitions to follow-up services.
• Engage in regular consultations with clients' family members or support systems to coordinate treatment and enhance engagement in the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues to relationship problems and life transitions. Your empathetic approach and commitment to trauma-informed care will help create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to address their challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as an LPC or an equivalent mental health professional designation.
• A minimum of three years of full-time experience providing clinical mental health services, demonstrating a thorough understanding of therapeutic approaches.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and maintain thorough documentation.
• Proficiency in using technology and software, including MS Office and virtual care platforms.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in telehealth service delivery, crisis intervention, or trauma-focused therapy will be favored. Familiarity with various therapeutic models and a continuing education background in innovative therapeutic practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
