Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Care Center within a large, high-acuity Level 1 trauma center
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly on a deferred schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling not typically approved

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience required
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma settings required
• Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma cases required
• Prior experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals not accepted
