We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support multiple development initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document clear, unambiguous, testable business requirements aligned with business objectives. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with project stakeholders and team members to identify impacted business processes and define project requirements. Develop and maintain project backlogs for Agile initiatives and work closely with Product Owners to prioritize requirements. Document Epics, Features, User Stories, and acceptance criteria. Analyze and document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes and workflows. Ensure requirements activities remain aligned with project scope, objectives, and timelines. Support information governance initiatives by identifying appropriate stakeholders and addressing data-related requirements. Assist in resolving critical IT issues related to business analysis activities. Participate in Build vs. Buy analyses by gathering and evaluating business and technical information. Assess the impact of changes to project scope and business requirements on project benefits and outcomes. Complete assigned project deliverables in accordance with established standards, processes, and guidelines. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, solution architects, developers, database administrators, QA testers, technical writers, team leads, and business stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and solution expectations. Translate business requirements into actionable tasks, deliverables, and project expectations. Required Qualifications Bachelor''''s degree in Information Technology or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments. Minimum of 5 years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements, including Epics, Features, and User Stories. Minimum of 5 years of experience documenting current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business process flows. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with State government projects, preferably within the State of Michigan environment. The selected candidate will support multiple concurrent development projects. Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills Are Essential. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in delivering enterprise-level solutions is highly preferred.
