A Fender is more than an instrument; it's a cultural symbol that resonates globally.We are searching for a Financial Analyst to join our team based in Corona, CA. In this role, you will support month-end close, standard cost accounting, and inventory control while partnering closely with Operations. This is a hands-on, versatile role spanning cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting in support of manufacturing operations. You'll assist in communicating results to Operations partners and help influence decision-making by providing insight from a business perspective.Essential Functions:Perform month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and Fixed Assets reconciliationPrepare standard cost estimates for new and existing SKUs and provide NPI cost estimating supportOwn and support inventory management activities, including obsolete inventory tracking and disposition, Employee Sale inventory, physical/cycle counts, and Year-End Inventory (YEI) across multiple areasPerform daily reconciliation of scrap with Operations and produce daily reporting on labor, Tools & Supplies, scrap, and other operational metricsOwn petty cash and checking account reconciliationProcess expense requests for R&D/NPI/production areasSupport special projects for Finance and Operations, and assist in communicating results to Operations partners to influence decision-makingAdditional duties as assignedQualifications:Degree in Finance or Accounting, with 1–2 years of finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of GAAP and standard cost accounting principlesSystems knowledge: SAP experience preferred (including Fixed Assets, inventory, BOM's, and routings) along with strong Excel skills for analysis of large/detailed operational data setsExperience with or aptitude for high-frequency reporting cycles (daily/weekly/monthly)Physical inventory control experience a plusStrong analytical skills; self-motivated and a self-starterExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBilingual English-Spanish preferredFender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is one of the world's leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers and distributors, whose portfolio of brands includes Fender®, Squier®, Gretsch®, Jackson®, EVH®, Charvel®, among others.
