Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Burn ICU for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Burn ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/27/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary An ICU Burn (Intensive Care Unit Burn) registered nurse position is available in a healthcare facility specializing in burn trauma surgical care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric burn trauma patients, including those with injuries from flame, scald, electrical, and chemical burns, as well as inhalation injuries and necrotizing fasciitis. The nurse will work primarily within a primary care model in a high-acuity environment. Job Details Position: ICU Burn RN adult and pediatric burn trauma surgical intensive care unit. Certifications/Education Requirements: Valid nursing license, drivers license or state ID, professional profile, two professional references, and a resume. Experience Requirement: 1 year of ICU burn experience or relevant critical care experience. Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Burn. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Start Date: 09/27/2026. End Date: 12/19/2026. Additional Responsibilities: Includes invasive hemodynamic monitoring (at least every hour), IV drip titration, nurse-driven burn fluid resuscitation following Parkland formula, ventilator management, continuous renal replacement therapy (CVVH), pulse and flap Doppler checks every hour, initial debridement and dressing changes, conscious sedation, surgical recovery, and epidural pump management.
