Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment and care plans based on thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and needs, incorporating evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Engage in effective communication with referring physicians to ensure consistent and integrated patient care, maintaining a collaborative approach in treatment planning.
• Document daily patient interactions and progress using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ensuring that all records are meticulously maintained for precise follow-up and care continuity.
• Utilize independent judgment and clinical expertise to implement appropriate treatment techniques and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's progress and feedback.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress over time, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes and enhance functional abilities.
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulations regarding physical therapy practices, ensuring compliance and ethical standards in all clinical activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Compassion Elevated Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population includes individuals from various age groups, with a significant focus on adults and seniors seeking to regain mobility and enhance their quality of life. You will employ a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual, aiming for effective rehabilitation and empowering them to achieve personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and active state licensing as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in orthopedic care, acute rehabilitation, or outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic exercises.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing various physical therapy modalities such as manual therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and functional training.
• Background in geriatrics or sports rehabilitation may be beneficial in supporting our patients' diverse needs.
• Experience with EMR systems to streamline documentation and patient management processes.

Compensation and Benefits
