Job Summary This position ensures that inventory levels are maintained, orders are processed, and supplies are distributed as needed across various departments. Key Responsibilities Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies or damages, and report findings to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and descriptions, using inventory management software. Issue supplies, materials, and equipment to departmental staff, recording issuance details to ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels. Perform physical inventory cycle counts as needed. NOTE this description is not intended to be all inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal. Minimum Qualifications (Required) Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. High School Diploma or GED. Read, write, and orally communicate in English. One year inventory experience. Two years’ experience with Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to crouch, bend, and lift objects throughout your shift. Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree Excellent skills with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in Microsoft suite. Experience with ERP systems and transaction management. Previous maintenance experience in a meat/food processing facility. Forklift certification. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good computer skills and ability to use designated programs including Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Display a strong work ethic and a professional attitude and appearance. Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to perform consistent, accurate work with minimal direction, and work successfully as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Develop and maintain effective employee relations. Encourage professional team building. Follow and enforce safety rules, housekeeping, and proper operation of equipment. Follow and monitor proper safety equipment usage and safety practices. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
